Julian just returned from Mexico City where he attended The Nature Conservancy One Conservancy Science Gathering. He is serving on the inaugural External Science Advisory Board for TNC.

Julian spent the summer in New Zealand as an Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury, working with Jono Tonkin, Tadeu Siqueira, and others.
